Cesar - Fresh Chef

I was fortunate enough to direct several short commercials for Cesar -Fresh Chef. The challenge, to convey how nutritious and fresh their dog food is in just 6 seconds! Working with a stellar crew we were able to deliver a series of successful spots, viewed by now over 5 million people and counting. As well as directing, I was heavily involved in the casting, location scouting and set design for this production.

GMC - Made To Be Used

Made To Be Used celebrates the GMC AT4 lineup and their endless possibilities no matter the elements or the terrain. I worked with CD James Allen and a team of artists to build out a series of luxury CG vehicles which were positioned to look all but awkward in the awe-inspiring desert landscapes and lush forests. Working with our concept artist, we drew inspiration from an array of existing luxury vehicles to create three unique cars. On set, practical vehicles with similar wheelbases were used as the stand-ins while our CG team modelled out the luxury vehicles. The spot truly nods to the brand’s “premium and capable” tagline as we see the vehicles racing through bodies of water and epic sand dunes.

Wholly Guacamole

In this CG based spot, the beloved Wholly Guacamole characters get themselves in an outright mess while trying to whip up a tasty snack. Working alongside the Directors and our talented artists, we brought this tasty spot to life. We also created several cut-downs for social media usage.

World Wildlife Fund - Earth Hour

WWF engaged us to produce a new commercial for their 2019 Earth Hour. The video received the highest click through rate for WWF and had over 145k views on Facebook.

Hilton - Meet the Concierge

When traveling for a separate Hilton shoot, I was lucky enough to meet Max Taylor. Max is possibly the kindest, most thoughtful concierge you will ever come across. From the moment we met him, I knew his story had to be out there. My role involved briefing Max, coordinating logistics with the Hotel and overseeing our team to shoot and edit this heartwarming piece which was used across Hilton’s online and social media channels.

Jeep - Farmers Across Borders

In 2019, I joined a convoy of trucks on a mammoth journey, transporting hay to drought effected areas of Australia. Jeep were a proud sponsor of the drive and engaged us to create content to be used across broadcast and digital media.

Carsales - Celebrity Drive

While working with ENTHRAL, we created the longstanding series Carsales called Celebrity Drive. The six part series hosted by Australian comedian Tommy Little is all about peering into the lives of celebrities tips, tastes and tales when it came to driving. Series 1 was so successful Carsales commissioned us to create another two which I was lucky enough to produce and co-direct.

FFA x NAB - Father’s Day

We worked alongside National Australia Bank and Football Federation Australia to create a heartwarming piece for Father’s Day. Many of the players hadn’t seen their fathers for many months, we worked with the coaches and the client to stage the perfect surprise!

The Great Weight Loss Challenge.

During my time working on Australia’s national nightly program, ‘A Current Affair’, I was lucky enough to work alongside Laura Francis to produce the following story which followed the journey of six incredible individuals on a journey to find a healthier life. We followed them over a period of three months and set them up with diary cameras to record the action.

The Strathbogie Story

During the COVID-19 pandemic, as part of a state government initiative, I was employed by Strathbogie Shire to capture the stories of locals. I produced and edited these pieces which were used across social media, the Shire’s website and in cinema. With minimal budget, equipment and parameters in place, we set out to capture an interesting story each week to bring the community together.
